Managing Partner

Ms. Hoster serves as the Managing Partner with HB Partners, where she leads operations, due diligence/underwriting and client services.

Ms. Hoster has over 20 years of experience in real estate and alternative energy investment banking and asset management services, including Vice President of Investment Operations of MAP, an acquirer and manager of natural gas, wind energy, and utility-scale solar energy royalty interests within the United States, Assistant Vice President of Asset Management for Somera Capital Management, a boutique real estate investment firm that actively acquires value-add commercial and multi-family properties, Assistant Vice President of Keystone Property Trust, an industrial REIT, and Analyst/Associate with Paine Webber Real Estate Principal Group (now UBS).

Ms. Hoster has oversite experience with the various real estate product types of multi-family, hotels, industrial, office and multi-use in value-add renovation, acquisition/disposition and new development throughout the United States.

Ms. Hoster served as Board Member and Treasurer of Stanford Professional Women and currently leads the Colorado Chapter, and has served on the Junior League as Chair and Co-Chair positions in the Denver, New York, San Francisco, Palo Alto and Los Angeles Chapters. She continues to volunteer for Stanford University in fundraising and interviewing potential Stanford undergraduate candidates.

TIM BROWN

Managing Partner

Mr. Brown serves as a Managing Partner with HB Partners, where he leads sales and marketing services.

Mr. Brown has served in different leadership capacities, including President of Northstar Commercial Partners, a privately-held commercial real estate investment company, President of Concord Energy Holdings, an integrated commodity logistics and oilfield services company and CEO of Radius Media Holdings, a media company offering a broad stratum of marketing platforms that ranged from radio broadcasting, a nationally focused large-format printing company and a sponsorship marketing agency.

Mr. Brown began his career more than 25 years ago in sales management in the high tech and telecommunications industry, including Cisco Systems, Alteon Web Systems (Nortel Networks) and American Power Conversion.

Mr. Brown is an active member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) in the Aspen and Rocky Mountain chapters, serving as Chapter Learning Chair and incoming Chapter Chair of the Rocky Mountain Chapter, as the Chair of YPO International’s Deal Talks and Super Regional Chair for North America inside YPO’s largest global network, the Deal Network, Vice Chair of the YPO Personal Investor Network.
